Jacob’s Toys grew from a lifelong love of action figures, comics and pop culture into a place to share that passion with other collectors. Across YouTube, Instagram and TikTok, I cover new releases, share honest collector-led reviews and talk to some of the people who help bring the toys we collect to life.
Collecting has always been at the heart of Jacob’s Toys. I’m interested in the figures themselves, but also the stories, characters and nostalgia behind them. Whether it’s Marvel Legends, Star Wars, something from my childhood or a completely new line, I approach everything from the perspective of a collector first.
Jacob’s Toys gives me a place to share that enthusiasm through reviews, videos, social content and live discussion. I’m not interested in simply repeating a press release or following whatever happens to be trending. I want the content to feel like one collector talking to another.
Community has always been a big part of Jacob’s Toys. Whether it’s discussing a new release, answering questions, sharing collections or simply talking toys, the conversation around the hobby is every bit as important to me as the figures themselves.
For more than three years I co-hosted the weekly Geek Week/Geek Meet Live shows, producing over 200 episodes of live discussion around toys and pop culture. While the regular show has now finished, that same community-led approach continues across everything I create.
Interviews have become a big part of Jacob’s Toys, giving me the opportunity to sit down with some of the people behind the characters, collectibles and stories we love.
From toy designers and artists to actors, writers and creators, I’ve been lucky enough to talk with people from across the worlds of toys and pop culture, including Hasbro designers, Marvel creatives, X-Men voice talent and Power Rangers alumni.
Jacob’s Toys has worked with brands across the toy and collectibles industry on product launches, reviews, interviews, event coverage and social content. Whatever the project, I approach collaborations in the same way I approach everything else: from the perspective of a collector and with content that feels genuine to the audience I’ve built.
