I’ve been part of the toy and action figure community for years. Since I was young I’ve always been interested in comicbooks and action figures. Something I continued to be interested in as I grew up. As social media grew I used it as a way of creating content across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and anywhere else collectors gather.
What started as a simple love for geek culture and toys has grown into a space where I share honest reviews, talk about new releases, showcase interesting figures, and connect with collectors and creators from all over the world.
My goal is simple: share my passion of toys and pop culture. Whether it’s a detailed high end figure, a nostalgic throwback, or a new line that’s just hit shelves, I enjoy looking at what makes each piece exciting and what doesn’t. I’m not here to overhype things or follow trends. I just give you genuine reactions and reviews from the perspective of someone who genuinely loves this hobby.
Along the way, I’ve also had the chance to dive into one of my favourite parts of this whole journey: talking to people who help shape the toy world. I love connecting with others who share the same interests and over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to chat with creators, celebrities, artists, and brand experts, each bringing their own insight, creativity, and passion to the table.
Community has always been at the heart of Jacobs Toys.
I’ve built my platforms around interaction. Answering questions, discussing releases, reacting to news, sharing photos, and spotlighting the awesome creativity throughout the collector space. For over three years I ran a weekly live video podcast on which we discussed everything each week in as much detail as possible. This finished after over 200 episodes as I wanted to use the time and space for something new. However I still do a spontaneous live stream called ‘Geek Meet’ with @Ryanspeaksgeek whenever we feel there is something to discuss.
I’ve been fortunate enough to partner with a wide variety of brands over the years, working with them to launch, review or discuss their latest offerings. Something I never imaged I would be doing, but am very grateful to be able to do.
